We’re an evergreen venture fund that bridges the chasm between pre-seed and Series B funding. We invest up to $5 million in early-stage life science companies at pivotal points to help them grow and flourish.
LSG Investments was created in 2002 through groundbreaking legislation that allocated funds from the Master Tobacco Settlement Act to accelerate innovation in Pennsylvania’s life sciences sector and promote economic growth.

Since LSG Investments was founded in 2002, we have invested $37 million into 72 companies and projects that collectively have created and retained 8,500 direct and indirect jobs in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Our portfolio companies have attracted $736 million in follow-on funding from other investors further strengthening Pennsylvania’s place in the life sciences ecosystem – and are advancing patient care beyond our borders.
