Pennsylvania Life Sciences Institute Announces New Executive Director
-Founder of HealthWorks Academies Joins Institute-
WAYNE, PA, February 13, 2013 – The Pennsylvania Life Sciences Institute today announced the appointment of healthcare leadership development professional Dale Keshishian as Executive Director of the Institute, effective Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
Keshishian is the founder of HealthWorks Academies, an organization designed to provide a turn-key health academy program offering to high schools. The model is designed to meet the demands of the, next generation of healthcare and life science workforce. By creating strategic alliances with industry leaders in healthcare and life science, technology, workforce development and education, Keshishian assembled and developed a diverse team to bring the HealthWorks Academies project from concept to launch in the Philadelphia region as precursor to a nationally replicable model.

Keshishian serves on the Board of Directors for ACHIEVEability, the American Red Cross Spectrum Committee, Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development (PHENND), and the Women’s Initiative of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
