What is RSS?
RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is a technology that delivers Web content directly to you, through an RSS reader or customizable websites like MyYahoo.com or Bloglines.com. RSS brings content to the user instead of asking the user to come to the content, allowing users to stay on top of updates much more easily.
How can I receive RSS feeds?
Desktop software applications known as News Readers or aggregators can collect, update and display RSS feeds from a wide variety of sources. A number of news readers are available for you to download, many at no cost. They vary slightly in how they look and act, so you may find yourself testing several before settling on one.
How do I view RSS feeds?
RSS readers can receive numerous RSS feeds—streams of online content—allowing users to quickly scan for breaking news, blogs updates, and new content.
