LSGPA supports new and expanding commercial entities in central Pennsylvania through direct investment and targeted delivery of business development services.

We are particularly interested in commercialization of technologies related to drug discovery and drug development, biomedical devices, and equipment or tools to enhance scientific research, though a wide array of life sciences businesses will be considered.

Overview

The LSGPA provides investment funding up to $1,000,000 in milestone-driven convertible debt or equity financing to viable seed-stage or established life sciences companies that have significant potential for commercial growth. The goals of the funding are to:

• Accelerate development of technologies or advance sponsored research to create significant value in the life sciences field,
• Develop promising life sciences companies into stronger businesses capable of attracting
  follow-on funding.

Eligibility and Investment Criteria

Start-up companies, established or in the formation stage, with an emphasis in the life sciences and staffing commitments to central Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
